Hello again!!!
I'm gonna keep this intro short: Here's the sequel of the de-influencing post of makeup, but this is the skincare one! So without further wait, let's get de-influencing!
1. Snail mucin

First of all, let's talk about weird this must feel, knowing you're putting snail secretions on your face. Also, I heard a lot about it and made some research. Yes, it worked wonders for some people, but I also noticed that those people already had great skin to begin with. For the common mortals like us, I saw that it actually made people break out, and made their skin very oily or very dry.
2. Cerave skincare line

You know me, by now, and you may even know what I'm going to say: It is not cruelty free!!! They test on animals. And there is so much skincare lines offered on the market, so I can't see why you would buy products that harm animals when you can buy some that don't!
3. Vaseline

Once again, this is a company that is really popular, but tests on animals. So, I won't talk about it too much, because that's the main reason why I'm telling you you shouldn't buy from them. Buy some alternatives! Save animals!
4. Dior lip oil

You probably expected this one. This lip oil is all the crave on the Internet. But honestly, we all want it only because it's cute. The formula actually isn't nice, it's definitely overpriced, and you can find some way better lip oils than this one, like the Haus Labs one. Also, it tests on animals, so it's just not a good product overall. If you like the aesthetic, QUO Beauty has a lipbalm dupe!
5. Drunk Elephant

Listen, this brand is cute and all, but the price? It's insane. With a cream that price, I'd expect it to be made of gold or make me soup or something. It may do wonders (which it does not), it's not worth it. If you like the container, ELF does a bubbles mask for so much less money with this container. You can also use an affordable moisturizer and order some empty containers on Amazon. So, save your money!
6. Laneige lip masks

Those lip masks are just way too overpriced, not that moisturizing, and actually dries your lips on the long term. Plus, they test on animals. So, it's just overall not worth buying it. You don't even have to maybe think about getting it.
7. Maracuja juicy lip plump

How is this worth 30$? It doesn't even plump, it's not cute, it's just so not worth it. You can find a cuter lip balm, less expensive, and you can also find a better lip plump that actually really plumps. Especially for this price.
8. All accessories: Gua Sha, ice roller, rose quartz roller...

All those things are usually overpriced, and they're not even real crystals, so you're buying for fake crystals that are worth nothing. You pay too much for what it is. They also don't work. The ice roller could be useful to refresh your face, but that's all. You can also find something less expensive to do that. So, you can definitely save your money!
So there you go! I hope this post could help you save money and not overconsume. I hope it can also helps make you think next time you want to buy things, especially if you want to use them only because they're viral. Anyway!
Love you all,
The Indecisive xxx
